Nike Suing Lululemon Over Alleged Patent Infringement

Lululemon

Nike is alleging that fashion/athletics style company Lululemon has infringed on patents related to the use of textile and other structural designs of its footwear, claiming that Lululemon’s Blissfeel, Chargfeel and Strongfeel sneakers are violating copyright and infringing its patents of its Flyknit technology.

Lululemon is a mega brand in the fitness fashion world, and among some of the favorite products used by athletes for fitness streams and related content.

Lululemon company spokesperson said “Nike’s claims are unjustified, and we look forward to proving our case in court”, via an official statement. The suit was formally filed in the New York District Court.

Nike is seeking an undisclosed sum in damages and injunction on further infringement.
